Red algae
(Furcellaria lumbricalis)
This algae is cultivated in Estonia in the cold and pure waters of the Baltic Sea. Red in colour, it darkens while drying.
The water in which it thrives has a salinity equivalent to that of physiological serum.
Very well assimilated, it is widely used for its gelling properties in the food, medicinal and cosmetic industries.
On the skin, its hydrating power is remarkable.
