Rice
(Oryza sativa bran)
Cultivated throughout the tropical, warm and temperate regions of the world, Rice is a vital food resource in many parts of the world.
Oryza sativa is commonly referred to as Asian rice. Traces of its culture dating back 6,000 years can be found in the Yang-Tse-Kiang Valley.
A symbol of abundance and life in Japan, and fertility in the East, Rice appeals for its taste but also for the properties of its oil. Extracted from bran, it improves microcirculation in the skin.
