Snow Lotus
(Saussurea involucrata)
Native to China, the Snow Lotus is difficult to find. It requires a journey to the high Himalayan mountains to find it, precisely in the west or north of Tibet, at between 3,500 and 5,000 metres of altitude.
It has a robust stem surrounded by green leaves and overhung by a pretty brilliant white rosette. Its germination time is quite long given its very harsh habitat.
Snow Lotus is used in cosmetics due to its many benefits. It helps achieve luminous skin and fights against the signs of ageing.
